Refuse derived fuel

Produced by a process of shredding and dehydrating solid waste, the benefits of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) are two-fold. Not only does it create a valuable fuel that can be used for power across the country, but it also changes the direction of waste destined for landfill, drastically reducing the need for space.

RDF consists mainly of the combustible components of municipal waste like plastics and biodegradable waste.

Although RDF is used as a fuel, legally it is still classed as waste. As a result it must be handled, stored, exported and used in a way that complies with all relevant environmental regulations. Bell Waste can take care of all of this for you. You can rest assured knowing that when your waste is picked up, it is going to good use!
